controls:

  • mouse or touch to interact (eg. select tools, plant flowers, switch gardens)
    • reset will return all planted flowers to your inventory.
    • trough will remove any planted flower.
    • a flower tool will plant its flower on soil, and plant over any flowers of a different type.
      • you can click + drag to plant flowers of a given type in soil only (it won't plant over other flowers)
    • a flower tool will also remove planted flowers of its own type.

    • next/prev chapter jump between collections of gardens and entire conversations.
  • 1-4 for flower hotkeys

some important things to remember:

  1. You must plant all of your flowers.
  2. Each flower has rules regarding how it must be planted. These rules are consistent across every garden.
  3. Every garden has a unique solution. You can use the uniqueness of solutions to determine if you understand a flower's rules.
  4. Take your time and stroll through the gardens. You'll have to complete a set of them to move on, but you can approach them in any order, and later gardens might inform your understanding of earlier gardens.

Interesting puzzle!

Though I didn’t realize Roses' true rule until I found a solution probably close to the actual one XD

I had mistakenly thought that nyy ebfrf whfg arrqrq gb sbez n pbaarpgrq pbzcbarag ivn ebbx-zbirf naq xvat-zbirf gbtrgure.

Really lovely puzzles and presentation! For me, the 4th flower felt much easier to work out than the 3rd flower - I was stuck on grove M for so long! 😅

That was really cute! Took me a bit of brute forcing to learn the first two mechanics, but I got the fourth one fairly quickly. I really enjoyed the last couple puzzles once you get to know all the rules; the second to last one in particular stumped me for a while but was satisfying to get along with the final puzzle. Liked the music/vibe and dialogue as well!
